Didn't answer but called back against my better judgement. Got recording where they conveniently never disclose the company name but say "our company" and things like that. They claimed to be a charity and will call me back. Blocked.

Today, 6/4/19 and at 2:28 PM I received a call from "Cook's Country" displaying 617.581.8760. I did not answer the ring and the caller did not leave a message. I am suspicious. Was this indeed a call from Cook's Country?

"Charles Watson" left a message on my do-not-call-listed cell phone claiming that we had requested information about a business plan. Since we were unable to reach him directly (voicemail only) we merely warned him (a) not to speak so fast, (b) that he had obtained our number by mistake, (c) that it was probably from a list of illegally obtained persoinal data, (d) that depending on what he was actually selling, he might be gulty not merely of a do-not-call violatiuon but in fact interstate fraud, and (e) as an apparently very young man he might do well to pursue a more honest and rewarding career in another field, one that would not carry with it the risk of conviction and imprisonment. I doubt it'll do any good, but if enough people tell him the same thing, maybe he'll wise up. I'd hate to see so personable a young man become some hardened prisoner's nonconsensual catamite.

617-760-6617 called on 11:14 am on Dec 02, 2017 by the automated computer system and I happened to pick up the phone after the answering machine actived and also pressed the call back, after a short while of their brief of waiting in line, some one on the phone said if I have any debt that I would like to transfer over to their low rates of interest, so, I made a fool of her for a short while when she asked few questions, and she end up hung up the phone on me because I replied that didn’t you called me first?! My phone number is on the DO NOT CALL list. Their phone number is not accepting any incoming calls.
