Fraud guy responds to apartment ad, and tries to get money

unknown caller didn't leave a message.

This company called from a Albuquerque area code stating they are a local data recovery group. They scammed us out of $1700 and told us we need to send it now. We sent it and then was called again by another scam place. However, according to the federal law, the fair debt collection practices act states a debt collector must provide you with a written validation notice within 5 days after they first contact you. They never did that and insisted we send money now. or else. So we did. And they are also not listed under the better business bureau. Please avoid this Scam

Caller called my phone twice. No message left. I called back, and the phone number was not in service. Scam/spam call.

They called saying they we're social securiy administration, I called back and tokd them to stop calling that I knew they we're scammers, in a indian accent he proceed to tell me to shut up you f--king b-itch, go to hell stupid fking b- tch, if tgey leave a vouce mail its a different number to call back saying to return their call to avoid legal action and prosecution

Calls all the time was for my computer now who knows what they make things up.

Answered the call, and there was silence on the line. I hung up and then dialed the number back. The line was busy. Tried calling back several times, line still busy -- probably because it is making sequential robocalls!

They call I answer they stay on the line for a second then they hang up! SCAM!!

Receiving NUMEROUS calls from the 575 area code each day for more than a week in which the caller identifies himself or herself as being "on a Medicare open line." One female identified herself ("Melissa") as being a "medical specialist". The last caller (so far today) identified himself as "Jordan" to which I asked what the "latest scam is for today". He hung up on me. All callers sound like young, non-professional adults. The 575 area code is located North of the Mexican border in Southern New Mexico where there are NO large medical facilities or professional office complexes. I'm convinced - having lived and worked in the Deming/Las Cruces area for a number of years - this is a SCAM and actually originating from another region; but picked the 575 area code due to the limited number of residents in that area. BEWARE OF SCAM!!

Unanswered call this morning at 0957 did not leave a message. If "they" call again and don't leave a message I will block.

Called and I said hello 3 times, then they hung up..
