Called asking for someone with a different name. Was asking for money for a police Foundation. Told them I was someone different and they asked me for a donation and when I said no, they hung up on me. It's probably a scam.

Called asking for my name. They wanted to collect money for fallen police officers. Asked if i would send in a one-time donation if they mailed me a packet. I said possibly but that I was not going to provide any information over the phone (since if they were really my local police then they would already have that). They guy got really flustered and just ended the call, I think I confused him. lol At the end he said the call was paid for by some political organization. Called back to see what would happen and it was just a recording to press "2" if I wanted to be removed from their list.
99% sure it's a scam so please don't give out your personal info.

Called asking for a Shawn. Told him I wasn't and then they tried to ask me for money for fallen police officers. I told them that their number didn't match the local Police Department numbers and they hung up.
