"Charles Watson" left a message on my do-not-call-listed cell phone claiming that we had requested information about a business plan. Since we were unable to reach him directly (voicemail only) we merely warned him (a) not to speak so fast, (b) that he had obtained our number by mistake, (c) that it was probably from a list of illegally obtained persoinal data, (d) that depending on what he was actually selling, he might be gulty not merely of a do-not-call violatiuon but in fact interstate fraud, and (e) as an apparently very young man he might do well to pursue a more honest and rewarding career in another field, one that would not carry with it the risk of conviction and imprisonment. I doubt it'll do any good, but if enough people tell him the same thing, maybe he'll wise up. I'd hate to see so personable a young man become some hardened prisoner's nonconsensual catamite.
