Have received three calls once a week for the last three weeks (twice the male caller calling himself Louis left voicemail, the third I answered) from someone claiming to be with a firm they say has purchased property near us and would like to make an offer to buy our house. For one thing, we own our home and owe nothing on the property. We are not interested in selling and can find our own real estate agent, thank you. We do not need to be solicited.
This last time they called, I informed the woman in no uncertain terms, the property is not for sale and that it would be in her best interest to stop calling. I would seriously love to find out who they are. Harassing people on the phone for real estate business may not be illegal but it should be.
